Contribution of Mahila Morcha is immense in boosting the strength of BJP: Anurag Thakur

Sept 13 (AIR News): Senior BJP leader and Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on Tuesday said that the contribution of Mahila Morcha is immense in boosting the strength of the BJP. Mr. Thakur said this while addressing the Mahila Morcha of the Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency in Ambernath. 

He said women have not left any sector untouched and have brought laurels. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making it possible for the women to excel in every sphere of life. Hitting out at the Congress, he underlined that the Jan Dhan accounts as well as the Gas Cylinder for women were given by Prime Minister Modi. He added that 12 crore women got gas cylinder connection and 45 crore bank accounts were opened in a period of two years.
 
The Union Minister also said that Modi government started disbursing loan upto 20 lakh rupees to self help groups.
Mr. Thakur said that earlier women had to walk miles to fetch drinking water. However after the Modi government came power in 2014, 25 crore families have been receiving pure drinking water connection.
 
Highlighting about the country's success in combating Covid-19 crisis effectively, he attributed the success to the leadership of PM Modi. Many big countries could not complete their vaccination programme. On the contrary, India has administered 200 crore vaccine doses to its citizens, he said.
 
The BJP leader said that New India is taking shape by realising the dream of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Earlier, in the day Mr. Thakur visited Nevali village near Ambernath and tried to understand the issues of the people. He was also greeted by people at various junctions by party supporters and followers through bike rallies in and around Ambernath.
