13,000+ jobs given, transparency, maintained: CM Dr. Manik Saha

Agartala, Dec 19: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday claimed that the present government has already provided over 13,000 jobs maintaining total transparency.

He also highlighted the government’s transformative stride toward eliminating unemployment in Tripura.
Speaking to the media in Agartala on Wednesday, Dr. Saha emphasized the state’s commitment to fair and merit-based recruitment processes.

"Every job has been given with utmost transparency. There is no room for unfair practices," he said.
Dr. Saha noted that fresh vacancies are being identified and addressed systematically, ensuring steady progress.

However, he acknowledged that government jobs alone cannot accommodate every individual.

While creating government jobs is crucial, the government is equally focused on fostering entrepreneurship and promoting private sector growth to generate diverse employment avenues, he added.
Reflecting on the state’s efforts to attract investment, Dr. Saha shared his experiences from the Northeast Trade and Investment Roadshow recently held in Mumbai.

The event showcased Tripura’s potential as a business hub. Collaborations and investments from outside the region will open up even more opportunities for the state’s people, he remarked.
