Agartala, Aug 30: Ten private companies gave job offers to 185 Tripura youths trained under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Koushal Yojana.

The 185 youths got the offer letters during a job fair organized at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala on Tuesday.

Dr. Sandeep Rathore, secretary of Rural Development department, inaugurated the job fair with participation of the 10 private agencies. 

According to a government press release, 27 out of 185 candidates have been appointed in the state and the remaining 158 aspirants have been appointed outside the state. 

The inaugurator said, the central government launched the scheme to facilitate training of rural youths for their job viability. 

The welcome address was delivered by the Chief Executive Officer of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission Dr. Vishal Kumar while the vote of thanks was given by Additional CEO of TRLM Subhash Chandra Saha.

Director of Skill Development Sanjoy Chakraborty also addressed the inaugural session of the job fair as special guest. District Magistrate, West Tripura- Debapriya Bardhan also remained present as the special guest.
