Agartala, Oct 04: In a first, Tripura's Agar Oil will be exported to Dubai, opening new avenues for the state's Agar sector.

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has approved export of 2.5 kg Agar Oil from Tripura to Dubai on Wednesday.

M/s Mamon Enterprises of Churaibari, Tripura has been allowed to export the consignment of 2.5 kg Agar Oil to M/S Fragrance Force General Trading LLC, Dubai with valid CITES permit.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha shared the update on social media handle on Wednesday and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this.

This will give a fillip to the growth of the Agarwood industry in Tripura and will ease and facilitate the export of Agarwood products from the state.
