3 projects developed under Agartala Smart City Mission launched

Agartala, Aug 12: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday launched three projects developed under the Agartala Smart City Mission.

The three projects have been implemented at Banamalipur assembly constituency at the cost of Rs. 14.55 crore, according to a government press release.
 
The three projects included- upgradation of MBB College road from Math Chowmuhani to College Gate, underground cable of 11KV LT line from Math Chowmuhani to MBB College Gate and development of three water bodies.
 
After launching the three projects, Dr. Saha lauded the efforts of former Chief Minister and MLa of Banamalipur- Biplab Kumar Deb in implementing the Smart City works.
 
The three projects is a reflection of successful implementation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Act East Policy, the Chief Minister said while highlighting the major initiatives undertaken as part of the Agartala Smart City mission.

Along with the locals, the inaugural programme was attended by Urban Development Minister Manoj Kanti Deb, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, MLA Dr. Dilip Das, CEO of Agartala Smart City Limited Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, Deputy Mayor Manika Das Dutta and former VC of Tripura University Dr. Arunoday Saha.
