Agartala, Aug 02: Tripura has extended sincere thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completion of 90.05 percent vaccination with first dose.

The social media users from Tripura ran #TripuraThanksModiji while many other people campaigned with placards in various places of the state. The hashtag was in trending on Twitter.

The placards displayed the Prime Minister’s initiatives in Covid crisis including free ration under centrally-sponsored Garib Kalyan Yojana till November next and state’s government financial assistance of Rs. 1000 to around 7 lakh families each.

According to sources, such thanks-giving programmes were organized at 105 places with participation of around 15,000 BJP Karyakartas.
