Agartala's New tourism project 'Mystic Plantation Retreat' discussed in CMC meeting

Agartala, May 28: If everything falls on the right track, Lakshmilunga area in West Tripura district will soon have a new tourism project.
On Wednesday, West Tripura District Magistrate Dr Vishal Kumar chaired the Consultancy Monitoring Committee (CMC) meeting for Agartala destination via video conference at the district office.
The meeting was convened to discuss and obtain approval for the upcoming tourism project “Mystic Plantation Retreat” at Lakshmilunga area in Agartala, under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme by the Ministry of Tourism.
This nature-centric project aims to boost sustainable and experiential tourism in Tripura, integrating plantation landscapes with cultural and eco-tourism initiatives, according to a social media post from the West Tripura DM's official handle.
The committee, as mentioned in the Facebook post, evaluated all technical and financial aspects of the proposal to ensure impactful and eco-friendly development.
It is expected that the proposed project would become a milestone in Tripura’s tourism growth.
