Agartala, Jan 18: Congress' Tripura in-charge Dr. Ajay Kumar and some other party workers were reportedly injured in a political at Majlishpur constituency in West Tripura district on Wednesday.

According to a Congress leader, a bike rally of the party was attacked by the miscreants when it entered the Majlishpur constituency.

Dr. Ajay Kumar, who was leading the bike rally, along with some party workers had come under the attack and received injuries. They were taken to the hospital immediately after the incident.

Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman held the ruling party responsible for the attack incident.

Meanwhile, there was also a report of an attack on a BJP party office at Majlishpur.
