Agartala, Aug 19: In a heartwarming display of camaraderie and compassion, Assam Rifles soldiers celebrated Raksha Bandhan with the children of Kalyan Ashram in Tripura. 

This festive celebration was marked by the participation of 25 girls and 10 boys from the ashram, who were warmly welcomed by the personnel of Assam Rifles. 

The children tied rakhi on wrists of the soldiers, symbolizing the bond of protection and care between the local community and Assam Rifles. In return, the soldiers presented gifts and sweets to the children, making the festival even more memorable for them.

This gesture of unity and affection underscores the Assam Rifles' commitment to strengthen its bond with the communities they serve. 

The event highlighted the importance of togetherness and mutual respect, reinforcing the strong ties between the armed forces and the local populace.
