Assam Rifles conducts training for NCC Cadets in Agartala

Assam Rifles conducted a comprehensive training programme for NCC cadets at Agartala, Tripura, aimed at enhancing their physical endurance, discipline and basic military skills.

The training was organised as part of ongoing efforts to motivate and groom the youth towards nation-building and instil a sense of patriotism, according to a press release.

During the training, cadets were imparted basic military knowledge and underwent rigorous physical conditioning. Special emphasis was laid on obstacle course training, where cadets negotiated various challenges designed to test their agility, stamina and mental resilience.

In addition, weapon training was also conducted, familiarising cadets with safe handling and basic firing techniques under the supervision of trained personnel.

The initiative provided cadets with first-hand exposure to the life and functioning of security forces, while also boosting their confidence and leadership qualities. The participants displayed great enthusiasm and actively took part in all training activities.
