Agartala, Sept 24: Reaffirming its commitment towards promoting nutritional awareness, healthy dietary practices and community welfare, Assam Rifles organised a webinar under the Millet Awareness Programme as part of the International Year of Millets 2026 at Radhanagar, Tripura.

According to a press release, the webinar was conducted by Shri Rakesh Sinha, Founder and Director of Prakash Enterprises, a millet-based company based in New Delhi. The session focused on creating awareness about the nutritional benefits of millets, their role in promoting a healthy lifestyle and the importance of incorporating millet-based food products into daily dietary practices.

The initiative provided an opportunity for personnel to gain insights into millet-based nutrition and sustainable food practices from an industry expert. The programme also highlighted the importance of promoting awareness about traditional and nutritious food grains.
