Awareness through painting: Baibhav's efforts earn praises

Baibhav Datta, a Class-XII student of Hindi Higher Secondary School in Agartala, continues to raise awareness on critical issues such as 'Say no Drugs', 'Stop Child Marriage', and 'Stop Mobile Addiction' among school students through his painting. 

On June 11, Baibhav has conducted two awareness camps in South Tripura District. 

The first camp on "Say no to Drugs" was held at PM Shri Poangbari English Medium High School, Sabroom, South Tripura, where nearly 180 school students were present.

Head Master of the school Shyamal Nama, Poangbari ADC Village Panchayat member Ajit choudhury, Sikha Majumder and school teachers were also present.

Baibhav delivered speech on the topic highlighting the bad impacts of consumption of frugs through his painting. 

In his speech, Baibhav requested all to come forward to aware the society so as to save the young generation and shape the backbone of the Nation. His relentless efforts in such a young age earned wide appreciation.

Another awareness camp was conducted by Baibhav conducted on "Stop Child Marriage" at Srinagar H.S. School, Sabroom, South Tripura, where more than 200 students participated.

Head Master in-charge Senajit Choudhury, Poangbari ADC Village Panchayat member Ajit choudhury and other teachers were present. 

The school Head Master in-charge and other teachers appreciated Baibhav for such a noble work. He distributed painting materials and refreshments among students and teachers of both the schools.

"We all hope that such amazing work will take Baibhav to a greater height in future," a teacher commented. "It is truly commendable that Baibhav is dedicating himself to this kind of social work at this age, even while studying."

He is not only showcasing his immense talent but also serving the nation by inspiring change and promoting social betterment, said another teacher, who attended the camp.

Baibhav was selected as Youth Icon from the State and attended the Youth Festival-2025 at Bharat Mandappam, New Delhi under the patronage of the Prime Minister of India.

Baibhav has recently entered the India Book of records for the second time.

An incredible artist and the youngest Influencer of India, Baibhav has achieved this milestone for obtaining maximum certificates in Art and other activities. His first such feat (India Book of record) was in 2021 for obtaining a maximum number of certificates from Drawing and Painting Competition.

As per the latest record, the schoolboy achieved 798 certificates for participating in various online and offline art competitions and other extra-curricular activities from 2012 to 2025.
