B.L. Santosh chairs meetings to prepare roadmap for 2023 polls in Tripura

Agartala, Sept 23: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has geared up its organizational preparations with an eye on the 2023 assembly elections scheduled early next year.
As part of the preparations, national general secretary (organization) of BJP- B.L. Santosh arrived in Tripura on Friday and chaired several organizational meetings with the state leaders.
The BJP central leader emphasized on strengthening the party base in Janajati areas and also discussed various other organizational matters, according to party sources.
The BJP general secretary in a social media post commented that after successfully administering the state for five years, the cadre was fully geared up to bring back the party to power with improved mandate.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, BJP state prabhari Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Tripura BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee and others joined the state core committee meeting at the State Guest House, Agartala.
BJP general secretary (org) to Assam and Tripura units- Phanindranath Sharma and North East coordinator Sambit Patra were also present in the meeting.
Earlier, the former Chief Minister and BJP state president along with others welcomed B.L. Santosh in Maharaja Bir Bikram airport, Agartala.
Meanwhile, the BJP state in-charge along with the state president held an important meeting with social media, IT and media teams at the state office on the same day.
