Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir celebrates 28th Foundation Day

Agartala, Oct 02: In line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ensuring quality education, the Tripura government has taken multifaceted plans for strengthening the state’s education system, the Chief Minister said.

He drew attention of the guardians and said they should keep faith in the education system instead of focusing on private tuition.

The Chief Minister was addressing the 28th foundation day of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, Narsingarh on Monday. Besides, the Gandhi Jayanti was also observed in the school.

Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder and Director of Bhavan’s Tripura GB Subrahmanyam among other dignitaries were present.

The students of the school performed colourful cultural activities and highlighted their spirit for upholding the tradition of this prestigious institution. Some performances in the spirit of patriotism left an everlasting impression on the audience.

At the beginning, the Chief Minister along with the other guests laid the foundation stone of Saraswati Temple in the school premises and paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.

Pradhan of Narsingarh Gram Panchayat Nivedita Das, Principal of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Swapna Shome and chairman Debashis Chakraborty were also present.
