
Agartala, May 23: Tripura has received a major boost on the first day of the Rising Northeast Investors Summit- 2025 in New Delhi with MoUs attracting investment worth Rs. 15,646 crore.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has announced this landmark development for Tripura’s economic landscape in a social media post.
He termed the achievement as a significant stride towards Tripura’s accelerated growth and transformation.
According to a press release, highlighting the state’s potential, Dr. Saha said, “The interactions at the summit were vibrant and promising. Investors showed keen interest in Tripura, particularly in emerging sectors such as technology, 5G, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).”
He noted that the Tripura Investors Pavilion was a hub of activity, drawing enthusiastic responses from industry leaders and business stakeholders.
The summit facilitated 33 MoUs, attracting investments worth Rs 15,646 crores through this flagship event. This is not just a number—it reflects a deep belief in Tripura’s future, the Chief Minister commented.
The Chief Minister had interactions with the the investors and business leaders in the event. He highlighted Tripura's immense potential, especially in technology, 5G & AI with an invitation to unlock opportunities and drive growth in the state together.
Dr. Saha also visited the Investors pavilion for Tripura at the Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025. While interacting with the investors present in the pavilion, he assured them of extending full support.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the two-day summit in the presence of DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and other dignitaries and officials.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister has shared glimpses from his participation in the summit, where MP Rajya Sabha Rajib Bhattacharjee, MP Lok Sabha and former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Minister Santana Chakma, Tipra Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarma and Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha were also seen.
