BJP central leaders visit Tripura’s famous Matabari

Agartala, Mar 21: Two central leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)- National General Secretary Tarun Chugh and national secretary Vinod Sonkar, who arrived in Tripura on Friday for organizational activities, paid a visit to Mata Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, at Udaipur in Gomati district.
During the visit to Matabari, the central leaders were accompanied by local MLA Abhishek Debroy and other party karyakartas and state office bearers.
Chugh after visiting the temple wrote on social media that this sacred Dham is not only the center of faith, but a living symbol of India's eternal power tradition, spiritual consciousness and cultural unity. This holy land of northeast India is the pride of our rich heritage, where every temple, every tradition and every devotion empowers the soul of India.
He prayed to Mata Tripurasundari for the country's prosperity, welfare and bright future of each citizen.
Chugh also mentioned that unprecedented development and cultural renaissance happening in the Northeast region under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Faith and development are moving hand-in-hand, he noted.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Tripurasundari temple, where myth, devotion, and centuries of history come together, on September 22, last year, has put the shrine on national attention. According to official reports, the tourist footfall has significantly increased in the temple since the Prime Minister’s visit.
