Agartala, Sept 14: Voluntary blood donation is a noble service to the humanity. Young people should more and more come forward to join this noble work. This will also minimize the inclination towards anti-social activities among the youth. Blood donation also builds a sense of kindness and social responsibility. 

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this today at the blood donation camp organized by All Tripura Mahanam Sevak Sangha at the Sri Sri Mahanam Angan at Banamalipur, Agartala. 

Speaking at the celebration of the foundation day anniversary of this religious organization, the Chief Minister said, All Tripra Mahanam Sevak Sangha is relentlessly working for the welfare of society. They carry out various welfare activities throughout the year. The welfare message of this organization should be spread to the people. 

This organization is working for building spiritual awareness as well as inculcating moral values in people. They are also distributing food and rationing items to the needy people. Mahanam Sevak Sangha has to make more efforts to inculcate moral and humanitarian values in the youth; they have to educate them for honesty, kindness, forgiveness and tolerance. 

The Chief Minister said, Mahanam Sangha is uniting people through its social activities like blood donation. With this not only the religious purpose is served but service to the humanity is also being done. 

This is helping in boosting the feeling of brotherhood. We have to keep in mind that man stands for man. We also should learn about our Sanatan religion. Despite of so many invasions by foreign powers the glory of Indian culture is still intact due to Sanatan religion. The Chief Minister said, young generation should be encouraged more to take part in blood donation. 

Through such activities they will not get driven toward anti-social activities. Because, blood donation builds a sense of kindness and social responsibility. Having been inspired by the ideology of Mahanambrata Brahmachari, this blood donation programme has been organized. He had deep understanding of and knowledge in Sanatani philosophy. He showed the human beings right path in life. 

Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, Chairman of AMC Central Zone Ratna Datta, and functionaries of Mahanam Sevak Sangha were present as special guests.
