Agartala, June 04: A delegation from the Central Government visited several blocks in Tripura including West Tripura and Khowai districts.

During the field visits, the delegation inspected on-going development projects under the Central Government in different blocks and also met West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar.

A brief discussion was held between the visiting team and the District Magistrate on Tuesday. The delegation expressed their views after observing the implementation of central projects in the West Tripura district.

Meanwhile, a team from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) paid similar visits to several blocks including Mungiakami R.D. Block and Tulashikar block in Khowai district on Tuesday.

The three-member central team inspected the ground reality of key development works under various schemes, Mungiakami Block Development Officer Diptanu Debbarma said on Tuesday.

They mostly visited PM-JANMAN Houses, Jal Jeevan Mission, Atharamura VC Model Village, and Panchayat Development Fund projects, according to the BDO.

During the visit, the team also interacted with local residents and beneficiaries, gathering feedback on the impact of these initiatives.
