Agartala, July 26: DGP's Commendation Disc have been awarded to seven police officers in Tripura for their outstanding performance and commitment to public service.

The seven awardees are- Ravideep Singh Sahi, IG CRPF, Tripura Sector, Gourab Chakraborty, IGP (Police Housing and Construction / Welfare), Piyamadhuri Majumdar, Addl. SP (Rural), West Tripura, Justin Joseph, Dy SP (DIB), Dhalai District, Jana Ranjan Debbarma, I/C Inspector (AB) SB Orgn., Goutam Debbarma, I/C Inspector, Officer-in-Charge of Mungiakami Police Station, Khowai, and Suman Deb, Sub-Inspector (AB), SB Orgn.

The seven officers have worked beyond their call of duty and performed activities towards improving public service, a Tripura Police press release said. 

“It is expected that reward to them will motivate other police personnel to show similar professional zeal,” the press release reads.
