Digital transformation in Tripura School Education: Smart Classroom Project launched

Agartala, July 21: In a digital transformation in school education system of Tripura to impart quality education to the students, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated a 'Smart Classroom Project' on Friday.

The initiative that will cover 752 government schools under Samagra Shiksha aims at making the classrooms more attractive, interactive and informative to the students.

Addressing the programme at Umakanta Academy, Agartala, the Chief Minister said, the present state government has been working continuously with new plans and taking new initiatives to strengthen the school education system as well as ensuring quality education.

He expressed hope that the smart initiative in school education would bring in a positive change in the teaching- learning process.

As part of the programme, the Chief Minister also launched a real-time monitoring dashboard 'Vidyadarpan' to ensure proper implementation of guidelines in Mission 100 Vidyajyoti Schools.

This initiative evidently shows the State Government's efforts to transform the educational landscape of Tripura by ensuring quality education to the students.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated and inspected the Smart Classroom and Atal Tinkering Lab at Umakanta Academy.

Secretary of Education Sharadindu Chowdhury, Director of Secondary Education Chandni Chandran and other dignitaries were present in the programme.

A good number of students from various schools participated in the programme with great enthusiasm.
