
Agartala, May 21: The delegates and stakeholders, who attended a Consultation Workshop on AVGC-XR Policy draft in Agartala on Wednesday, called on Tripura IT and Finance minister Pranajit Singha Roy.
The delegates of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and stakeholders from the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) ecosystem were present.
The workshop was organised by the Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura.
The delegates held detailed discussions in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to strengthen the Orange Economy ecosystem in the state.
The interaction focused on opportunities in Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, Extended Reality, digital content creation, startup growth, skill development, creative entrepreneurship, and employment generation for the youth of Tripura.
The Government of Tripura, led by Chief Minister Dr.Manik Saha, is committed to positioning the state as an emerging hub for innovation, creativity, and AVGC-XR opportunities in the Northeast region, the IT Minister said.
During the interaction, detailed discussions were held on strengthening the Orange Economy ecosystem in the State and exploring opportunities in Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR).
Kiran Gitte, Secretary, IT, Government of Tripura, and Jeya Ragul Geshan B, Director, IT, were also present during the discussion.
