DM Gomati Tarit Kanti Chakma among several officers transferred in Tripura

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Tripura government on Tuesday issued transfer orders for several IAS, IFS, and TCS officers, including two District Magistrates.
Gomati District Magistrate Tarit Kanti Chakma has been transferred and appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM). He will be succeeded by Rinku Lather, who currently serves as ADM and Collector of Sepahijala district and holds the additional post of Commissioner in the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC).
Meanwhile, Saju Vaheed A, the District Magistrate and Collector of Dhalai district, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the National Health Mission (NHM) in Tripura. He will also hold additional responsibilities as the Member Secretary of the National AYUSH Mission (NAM).
Prashant Badal Negi, who was holding multiple portfolios including MD of NHM, Member Secretary of NAM, Director of Tourism, and MD of Tripura Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., has been relieved of his NHM and NAM charges but will continue in his tourism-related roles.
Megha Jain, currently serving as ADM and Collector of West Tripura, has been assigned multiple key roles—Director of Urban Development, Commissioner of TUDA (Tripura Urban Development Agency), and CEO of Tripura Jal Board.
In another notable move, Dr. Shailesh, Director of Industries and Commerce, who also held several additional charges including Skill Development, Bamboo Mission, TIDC, and Smart City projects, has been relieved from the Skill Development portfolio.
Pradip K., ADM and Collector of South Tripura, will now head the Directorate of Skill Development, taking over from Dr. Shailesh.
Further, Vivek H.B, the Commissioner of Taxes who also held additional urban development portfolios, has been transferred and posted as the new District Magistrate of Dhalai, filling the vacancy left by Saju Vaheed A.
Besides these changes, five other senior officers from the IAS, IFS, and TCS cadres have also been reassigned.
The reshuffle is part of the state government's ongoing effort to streamline administrative efficiency and ensure better governance across departments, according to official sources.
