Agartala, Aug 29: Distinguished educator from Agartala, Dr. Nani Gopal Debnath has been selected for the esteemed National Teachers' Award- 2024.

Dr. Debnath is currently posted as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Physics at Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan, a renowned school in the city.

In a recent social media announcement, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha extended his heartfelt congratulations to the teacher for this notable recognition.

The award ceremony, scheduled for September 5, will take place at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, coinciding with the celebration of Teachers' Day.

During this event, President Droupadi Murmu will present the National Teachers' Award to a total of 50 educators from across the country in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the education sector.
