Election campaign gains momentum in Tripura

Agartala, Feb 08 (AIR News): In poll-bound Tripura, campaigning has got momentum as the star campaigners across all parties held rallies to woo the voters. 

Senior BJP leader and Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh sought votes to continue development works in the State. 

He said that North East along with Tripura witnessed all-around progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also did three rallies for the party candidates.

Senior BJP leader and Panchayat & Rural Development minister of Assam Ranjeet Kumar Dass addressed an election rally at Bidyapur under Mandoi Bazar assembly in Tripura. He appeals to voters to support BJP for continuous progress in the State. 

On the other hand, senior CPI- M leader and former Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar campaigned for the Left Front parties.

Leaders of the TIPRA Motha Party,  State Congress and TMC  Presidents among others also did rallies today. Meanwhile, voting facilities for elderly voters and Divyang voters at their homes and postal ballots voting have started today in the State.
