Everything has a limit; anything beyond the limit will not be tolerated: Tripura CM

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday issued a sharp caution against individuals or groups attempting to tarnish the image of the government.

Without naming anyone directly, the Chief Minister made it clear that there is a limit to everything, and those who cross that line will face appropriate consequences.

Speaking at a public programme in Kumarghat under Unakoti district, Dr. Saha said, “Attempts are still being made to tarnish the government’s image. But everything has a limit. The government will act appropriately if the limit is crossed.”

While the Chief Minister did not name any group, his remarks are being viewed in light of the recent protests by the Youth Tipra Federation (YTF), which demanded action against the Gomati District Magistrate. His statement is seen as a direct response to the escalating agitation in the name of political dissent.

Dr. Saha remarked that he wants everyone to live peacefully, with mutual respect. But if someone crosses the boundary of decency, the government will respond decisively—just as the Prime Minister responded to Pakistan.

Despite the political undertones, the Chief Minister highlighted the government’s development agenda. He inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several infrastructure projects covering Kumarghat and Pecharthal blocks, reaffirming the state’s commitment to inclusive growth.

Dr. Saha’s address seemingly combined both warning and reassurance—sending a message that while the government is committed to ensuring development, it will not allow chaos or disrespect under the guise of protest.
