Agartala, July 06: With the goal to maintain the winning spree in the ensuing Panchayat polls, the Tripura unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has geared up its preparations across the state.

Out of 60 assembly segments in Tripura, 48 will come under the Panchayat elections covering 35 out of 58 blocks.

In view of the Panchayat elections, the BJP state uint has already started the process for selection of candidates and build up the strategy under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and Pradesh BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee.

According to party sources, one state level Karyakarta has been entrusted as Prabhari of one assembly constituency for strengthening the organization.

A BJP leader commented that the party's goal is not only to winning the elections. The BJP is a party with difference and it works to ensure that the benefits of various schemes and initiatives reach out to the last mile.

While other political parties are pressing for various demands to address local issues including road connectivity, drinking water facility and REGA works, the BJP Karyakartas are building smooth relations with the people highlighting the present state government's development works.

Tha Bharatiya Janata Party has secured massive victories in both the Lok Sabha seats as the people supported the party considering various matters including development initiatives. If the flow continues in the upcoming Panchayat polls, it is expected to set another victory for the BJP, ensuring its representative in every Panchayat.

Meanwhile, the Panchayats play the key role in ensuring development process in the rural part, giving the people access to basic amenities.
