Agartala, Jan 05: The final voter list was published in Tripura on Friday. The list included 32,218 newly enrolled voters out of total total electors to 28,56,925.

According to the final electoral lists, 14,35,172 are male, 14,21,679 are female and the rest 74 are of third gender out of the 28,56,925 voters, while the 32218 newly enrolled voters have come up after a special summary revision as on January 1, 2024.
Out of the total newly enrolled voters, 17454 are male and 14758 are female and 6 are of third gender. 
A significant improvement in gender ratio has also been observed with emphasis on enrolment of women voters. 
The sex ratio in the draft list was 989, which increased to 991 in the final list. During the process of preparing the final electoral lists, a total of 13,231 names of voters were deleted from the electoral lists of the state as they expired.
The Additional Chief Election Officer Ushajen Mog in an official statement said that those who could not participate in the special summary revision, will be able to take part in the next summary revision starting from January 6 next.
On the other hand, the DM of West Tripura district Vishal Kumar on Friday addressed a press conference and said that a total of 6,92,812 voters from the West district are listed in the final electoral lists of the state.
Out of the total 6,92,812 voters, 3,42,948 are male voters and 3,49,824 are female voters.
