Job Alert: More than 300 posts to be filled up in Tripura

Agartala, Feb 24: In a significant move to strengthen the workforce across various government departments, the Tripura cabinet has approved a fresh recruitment drive for multiple posts.

Briefing the media on the cabinet decisions, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced that 104 Forester positions will be created and filled under the Forest Department, with a dedicated recruitment board overseeing the selection process.

Further boosting administrative efficiency, the cabinet approved the recruitment of 140 Auditors under the Directorate of Treasuries in the Finance Department. Additionally, 30 positions for Auditor/Investigator/Statistical Investigator (Group-C, Non-Gazetted) will be filled in the Department of Cooperation, following clearance from the Finance Department.

The Social Welfare & Social Education Department will see the recruitment of 34 ICDS Supervisors, while the Tourism Department has been granted approval to fill two Upper Division Clerk posts and three Group-D positions. Strengthening healthcare infrastructure, the cabinet has also sanctioned the recruitment of two Bio-Medical Engineers (Group-A Gazetted) under the Health & Family Welfare Department.

Responding to queries, Chowdhury stated that Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, during his recent visit to Delhi, formally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to inaugurate the redeveloped Mata Tripurasundari Temple premises.

A proposal has been submitted to hold the inauguration on April 7, an auspicious day, though the final confirmation is awaited. The redevelopment project, including funds allocated under the PRASAD scheme, is expected to exceed ₹50 crore, marking a major investment in enhancing the temple’s infrastructure.
