Job Alert: Tripura Govt announces recruitment in various departments

Agartala, Aug 02: With an eye on the 2023 assembly polls, Tripura government has initiated a major recruitment drive to fill up around 400 posts.
As decided by the council of ministers, 200 Junior Engineers and 100 Staff Nurses would be recruited in Tripura apart from filling up of many other posts, a minister said on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference, ICA Minister and cabinet spokesman Sushanta Chowdhury said the 200 Junior Engineers would be recruited through Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) under the PWD.
He said, 200 Junior Engineers—100 each in Degree and Diploma levels would soon be recruited in Grade-5(A) and in Grade-5(B) of Tripura Engineers Service (TES) through TPSC and the aspirants would get opportunity in all three streams- Civil, Mechanical and Electrical.
The state cabinet took another major decision that 100 Staff Nurses would also be recruited under the Health and Family Welfare department on a fixed-pay basis to strengthen the Health services, he said.
The other major decisions included filling up of 22 posts of Pharmacists (Homeopathy), 25 posts of Pharmacists (Ayurvedic) and 39 posts of Laboratory Technicians (Blood) under the Health and Family Welfare department. According to Chowdhury, the department would soon form a Board to complete the recruitment process.
Four posts of Assistant Professors in different disciplines in the Regional Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (RIPSAT) would be filled up, he said.
Besides, the Tripura council of minister also approved creation of various other posts under the ICA, Finance and Health departments.
