JRBT’s final merit list for Gr-D posts out, 2,437 aspirants selected

Agartala, Sept 07: The Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura (JRBT) has announced the final selection of 2,437 candidates against 2,500 Group-D (multitasking) posts on Saturday.

While the final merit list brought celebration among the selected candidates before Durga Puja, it was also a cause of disappointment for many others who could not clear the final stage despite their best efforts in the interviews.

There were reactions from various corners of the state indicating merit-based and transparent selection.

The written examination for these Group-D posts was held back on August 20, 2021. A provisional list of candidates who had qualified for interviews was released on November 30, 2022. Thousands of candidates, who had been eagerly awaiting the final merit list after completing the interview phase, have finally learned their fate.

Following the announcement of the results, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha congratulated the selected candidates through a social media post.

He wrote, “Heartfelt congratulations to all JRBT Group-D qualified candidates! Your tireless efforts and unwavering dedication have led to this remarkable achievement. May this success be the foundation for even greater accomplishments in the future. Best wishes for your continued growth and prosperity!”

In the notification, the JRBT stated that 63 of the reserved positions for Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) remained vacant due to the non-availability of eligible candidates.
