Agartala, July 14: Lions Club of Agartala ANISH, a leading organization dedicated to environmental conservation, successfully conducted a Plantation Drive on Sunday.

The event took place at Airport Road in Durjoynagar, Agartala, where the club members gathered to plant 30 Avenue trees. This initiative is part of Lions Club of Agartala Anish’s ongoing commitment to enhancing urban green spaces and promoting environmental sustainability. A total number of 11 volunteers were present for the event.
A similar plantation drive was also done on June 5, 2014 beside the parking region from Jackson Gate to Orient Chowmuhani, Agartala.

The species chosen are well-suited to the local climate and will contribute to improving air quality, providing shade, and supporting local wildlife. Every tree planted today brings us a step closer to a greener and healthier environment
Lions Club of Agartala ANISH plans to monitor the growth of the planted trees and organize follow-up events to ensure their healthy development. The organization encourages community members to participate in future initiatives and contribute to a sustainable and green future.
