Agartala, Feb 10: In the fight against drugs, Tripura Police on Monday seized a big consignment of Yaba tablets from Dhalai district.

The Superintendent of Police, Dhalai led the operation in which 9.24 lakh Yaba tablets worth Rs. 28 crore were seized and two individuals were arrested.

During the search, the drug consignment was found inside a vehicle's oil tank at Betbagan Naka point under Ambassa police station.

According to police, this was one of the biggest drugs haul of Tripura. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on X also greeted police for the achievement.
