Meeting with Shah, Nadda: Tripura CM highlights development initiatives

In a bid to fast-track developmental projects and strengthen political groundwork, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha held crucial meetings with Union Ministers- Amit Shah and J.P. Nadda in New Delhi on Friday.
During a detailed discussion with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Dr. Saha highlighted the progress of Tripura’s key development initiatives and sought strategic support from the Centre to expedite infrastructure and welfare projects.
He reportedly emphasized the importance of central backing to ensure the seamless implementation of ongoing schemes.
Later, Dr. Saha also met Union Health Minister and BJP National President J.P. Nadda, where the focus shifted to healthcare upgrades in Tripura.
The Chief Minister advocated for expansion of super-specialty medical services and strengthening of healthcare infrastructure across the state.
Sources within the BJP hinted that Dr. Saha’s meeting with Nadda also delved into internal party matters, particularly the upcoming selection of the new Pradesh BJP president.
The Chief Minister also met National General Secretary (Org) of Bharatiya Janata Party B.L. Santosh.

These back-to-back meetings reflect the Chief Minister's dual focus on governance and political consolidation, as Tripura positions itself for a new phase of development and party strengthening under his leadership.
