Agartala, Nov 12: A Royal Bengal tiger at Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary has found an unlikely guardian as Tripura MLA Sushanta Deb, in a heartwarming gesture, adopted the tiger pledging to cover all its expenses.

Tuesday is the birthday of the MLA and his act of kindness has touched the hearts of many. It also reflects the importance of human-wildlife connection.

The MLA's initiative has also inspired a visiting delegation of zookeepers from the Northeast region.
By shouldering the financial responsibility for the tiger's care, Deb aims to inspire others to support wildlife conservation initiatives.
