MoS meets Tripura CM, discusses tourism potentials

Agartala, July 10: As part of his three-day visit to Tripura, Union Minister of State for Tourism, Petroleum, and Natural Gas Suresh Gopi paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday.
The courtesy meeting took place at the Chief Minister's official residence, where both leaders discussed several important issues in detail.
Key topics included the immense potential of Tripura's tourism sector, the exploration of natural gas, and the transportation of petroleum products.
Welcoming the Union Minister, the Chief Minister expressed his gratitude for the dedicated efforts of the Narendra Modi-led central government towards the comprehensive development of the state.
Tripura's Tourism Minister, Sushanta Chowdhury, was also present during this meeting.
Meanwhile, the Union Minister of State accompanied by Chowdhury and officials concerned also visited Neermahal, one of the key tourist destinations in Tripura, earlier on Wednesday.
Speaking to the media, the MoS assured that he would present the vast potential of Tripura's tourism to the Union Tourism Minister. He also invited South Indian film directors and actors to highlight Tripura's tourism in their films.
