Mukhyamantri Samipeshu: Tripura CM listens to people’s grievances

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today directly interacted with the citizens from various parts of of the state during the 52nd episode of Mukhyamantri Samipeshu.

People approached the Chief Minister with issues ranging from medical treatment to land-related disputes.

Dr. Saha gave a patient hearing to each case and instructed officials present to take necessary steps.

Among the petitioners was Shikha Debnath of Pratapgarh, who sought help for her daughter Tamanna, unable to walk due to congenital leg deformities.

Similarly, Subal Das of Chakmaghat, Teliamura, appealed for assistance in treating his five-year-old son suffering from blood cancer. 

Dr. Saha instructed the Medical Superintendent of the Regional Cancer Hospital to take steps without delay.

Other cases included patients with kidney and pancreatic ailments such as Bachan Debbarma of Kumarghat, Krishna Debnath of Kailashahar, Nirod Bihari Das of Badharghat and Liton Saha of Gandatwisa.

The Chief Minister instructed health authorities to take proper measures for their treatment.

Sanjit Nath of Dharmanagar sought medical aid for his wife, who was critically injured in an electric shock incident, while Manasa Harijan of Ramnagar, a domestic worker struggling to sustain her family after her husband’s death, requested support. The CM assured all possible assistance.

Senior officials present at the programme included Health and Family Welfare  Secretary Kiran Gitte, Social Welfare and Social Education Secretary Tapas Roy, Secretary to CM Dr. P. K. Chakraborty, Health Director Dr. Tapan Majumder, GBP Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Shankar Chakraborty, Regional Cancer Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. S. Debbarma, and IGM Hospital Superintendent Dr. Debashree Debbarma.
