Agartala, Sept 12: There is no shortcut to success. Students must make continuous efforts to achieve excellence, keep learning, and remain steadfast on the journey to reach the pinnacle of success. 

Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, who was the chief guest at the 21st Convocation of ICFAI University today, said this. 

Speaking at the event, the Governor said that students must emphasize practical and skill-based education for their overall development and future success. 

He called upon ICFAI University to continue focusing on practical education so that students can be prepared to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world.

The Governor said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the call for "Viksit Bharat 2047" with the goal of building a developed India. The state government has also joined this effort of building a developed India through the implementation of the roadmap or action plan for "Viksit Tripura 2047." 

He said that the newly graduated students are also the architects of achieving this goal.
The Governor said that the world is changing rapidly and the scope of possibilities is continuously expanding. 

He called upon the graduates to use the knowledge and skills gained from the university not only for personal success but also for the larger goal of nation-building. The Governor said that the National Education Policy 2020 is the main foundation for building a new and developed India. 

He expressed satisfaction that ICFAI University Tripura has actively adopted the vision of the National Education Policy in the field of holistic and multidisciplinary education. 

The Governor also called upon parents, teachers, social workers, and especially the youth, along with all citizens, to join the fight against substance abuse.

At the convocation, Professor Biplab Halder, Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University, delivered the welcome address and presented the university's report.

Also present at the event were Tirupati Rao, Chancellor of ICFAI University, and Dr. Chandrashekhar Rao.

The Governor conferred PhD degrees, gold medals, and  certificates upon PhD researchers and postgraduate and undergraduate students for their academic achievements.
