Maligaon, July 18:  For the convenience of the passengers during the summer rush, The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has taken a proactive step to address the surge in passenger demand by introducing two more pairs of weekly special trains. 

One train will operate between Guwahati and Anand Vihar Terminal & another from New Tinsukia to Bhagat Ki Kothi. Both the special trains will operate for four trips each in both directions on weekly basis. These Express trains will improve rail connectivity between Northeast, North Bengal, Bihar, and Northan Part of India  fostering trade and other economic activities. The regular services of these trains will run as per following details.

Accordingly, Train No. 05671 (Guwahati –Anand Vihar Terminal) special will depart from Guwahati on every Wednesday from 24th July to 14th August, 2024 at 15:00 hours to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 8:50 hours on Friday. In return direction, train No. 05672 (Anand Vihar Terminal- Guwahati) special will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal on every Friday from 26th July to 16th August, 2024 at 23:45 hours to reach Guwahati at 14:15 hours on Sunday. 

The Special train will run via Kamakhya , Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Alipurduar, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda Town, Bhagalpur, Jamalpur, Gaya, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and Prayagraj in both directions. The train will have one AC 3-tiers, eight Sleeper class and ten General second class coaches for the passengers. 
Train No. 05919 (New Tinsukia - Bhagat Ki Kothi) Special will depart from New Tinsukia every Monday from 22nd July to 12th August, 2024  at 12:45 hours and will reach Bhagat Ki Kothi on Thursday at 7:15 hours. In the return direction, train no. 05920 (Bhagat Ki Kothi - New Tinsukia) Special will depart from Bhagat Ki Kothi on every Friday from 26th July to 16th August, 2024  at 05:30 hours and will reach New Tinsukia station on Monday at 04 hours. 

The Special train will run via Simaluguri, Diphu, Lumding Jn., Kamakhya, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, New Alipurduar, New Coochbehar, Kishanganj, Katihar, Hajipur, Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, Rohtak, Suratgarh, Lalgarh Jn, Merta Road and Jodhpur Jn. The train will have two AC 3-tiers, eleven sleeper class and eight general second class coaches for the passengers. 

Wait listed passengers of other trains travelling in these routes can avail the opportunity to travel with comfort during this summer in these special trains. 

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
