New Delhi, Aug 08: National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) has offered '.(Dot) IN' and '.(Dot) भारत' domains registration at seventy five rupees for one year under its 'Har Ghar Digital, Har Jeevan Digital' campaign. 

The campaign is dedicated to the country's 75 Independence Day and campaign offer will be available till 20th of this month.

NIXI has said that the objective of this initiative is to encourage the use of '.(Dot)IN' and '.(Dot)भारत' domain names and the spread of local language content on the Internet. 

NIXI highlighted that this initiative will also help in increasing the digitization across industries, including MSME, Start-ups, Technology, Education and Health Care sectors. 

It said, the offer has been designed to enable adoption of digital identity by every citizen at a most affordable rate, allowing them to have digital independence and in-turn contributing to the digital economy of the country. People can get more details related to registration on www.registry.in
