Dharmanagar, May 10: In a unique initiative aimed at boosting employee motivation, responsibility, and dedication, the North Tripura District Administration has introduced a monthly recognition programme to honour outstanding employees while also celebrating staff birthdays, creating a more humane and friendly workplace environment.

During the monthly staff meeting held recently in the presence of District Magistrate and Collector Chandni Chandran, the administration presented the “Best Employee of the Month” award to deserving employees based on efficiency, sincerity, and sense of responsibility.

Among the award recipients was Kaushik Bhowmik, Personal Assistant to the District Magistrate (PA to DM). He was honoured for his dedicated and efficient role during the Dharmanagar Assembly by-election and the 2026 TTAADC General Elections.

A notable aspect of his contribution was the creation of an election awareness song aimed at encouraging and educating new voters. 

The song was widely circulated across different areas of the Dharmanagar Assembly constituency as part of the voter awareness campaign. District Magistrate Chandni Chandran highly appreciated the innovative initiative.

The district administration congratulated the awardees for carrying out crucial election-related responsibilities with honesty and commitment. Officials and staff members present at the meeting also applauded the honourees.

The administration additionally celebrated the birthdays of employees born in April by cutting a cake during the event.

According to officials, such initiatives help foster positivity, mutual respect, and team spirit among employees.

The North Tripura District Administration’s efforts to create a more positive and productive work culture in government offices have already received appreciation from various quarters.
