In a significant step towards strengthening emergency healthcare services for children with special needs, NEW HOPE, with the support of ONGC under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, inaugurated a fully equipped ambulance. 

This initiative aims to improve access to emergency medical care, ensure safe transportation to therapy centres, and facilitate timely hospital referrals for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, and other developmental conditions.

The inauguration ceremony was held at 12:00 noon at the NEW HOPE campus in Agartala. The ambulance service was formally launched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and flag-off in the presence of distinguished guests, medical professionals, social workers, parents, and other eminent personalities.

During the programme, NEW HOPE highlighted its mission and ongoing commitment to providing quality education, therapy, rehabilitation, and comprehensive support services for children with special needs. 

The organization also expressed its sincere appreciation to ONGC for its valuable CSR contribution and continued commitment to community welfare.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives of NEW HOPE stated that the ambulance will serve not only as an emergency medical transport vehicle but also as a vital support system for regular therapy visits, medical consultations, hospital referrals, and various healthcare outreach activities. 

The service is expected to significantly reduce the difficulties faced by children and their families while ensuring timely access to essential medical care.
