Over Years “Mann Ki Baat” Emerged As Platform Celebrating Positivity, Collective Goodness: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that “Mann Ki Baat” is a programme he has always cherished because it celebrates the people of India. Prime Minister Modi said in a social media post that he is glad that over the years the radio show has emerged as a platform celebrating positivity and collective goodness.

During his Mann Ki Baat address today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised the rapidly changing nature of jobs and the growing opportunities in creative sectors such as gaming, animation, and filmmaking, among others.

The Prime Minister underscored the immense potential of India’s creative talents and called on creators to participate in the 25 Challenges under the theme ‘Create in India’ which is being organised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. In his address, he encouraged creators to visit the website wavesindia.org to participate in these challenges.

Earlier, on the 22nd of August this year, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw unveiled the Create in India Challenge—Season One—in New Delhi. These challenges will serve as a precursor to the upcoming World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES), aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Design in India, Design for the World.”

According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit will be organised from 5th to 9th February next year to propel India’s media and entertainment industry and boost the creator economy.
