PM Modi means guarantee of development, good governance: Tripura CM

Agartala, Mar 21: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, who on Thursday kicked-off door to door campaign for the ensuing Lok Sabha polls, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi means guarantee of development and sushasan (good governance).

With an appeal to further strengthen Prime Minister Narendra Modi's hands by ensuring BJP's victory, he participated in Jan Sampark Abhiyan at the booth no-10, 15 and 17 in Kanchanmala area under Golaghati (ST) assembly constituency on the first day and distributed leaflets among the people.
"After seeing the faith & confidence of the people in Modi Ji, I am sure that the BJP will secure more than 400 seats this time", Dr. Saha commented.
While campaigning for the BJP nominee from the West Tripura parliamentary constituency Biplab Kumar Deb, Dr. Saha also met the traders at Kanchanmala market. 
The Chief Minister saw tremendous response among the people during the Jan Sampark Abhiyan. The local people, mostly from the Janajati section, were evidently satisfied with the development works including PMAY, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ujjawala Yojana, improved connectivity, better health facilities and farmers' welfare ensured by the Modi government.
As part of his visit to Golaghati, Dr. Saha also met the Karyakartas and office bearers at the local party office and encouraged them to work with more dedication to ensure BJP's win in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also chaired a poll meeting at the BJP state office in support of the party's candidate to East Tripura Parliamentary Seat Maharani Kriti Singh Debbarma.
