Kulai: April 08: In a notable sign of changing political dynamics, 33 voters from 12 families of Kulai Gantachera VC and NG Para under Bagmara VC in the Kulai–Champahour Constituency have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), leaving the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) and the Tipra Motha Party (TMP).
This shift has been driven by the grassroots leadership of Shri Khupso Halam and Shri Bhim Singh Jamatia, whose consistent engagement and people-centric approach have strengthened their connection with local communities. Their efforts have played a key role in building trust and encouraging participation at the ground level.
The newly joined members stated that their decision was influenced by visible development initiatives, transparent governance, and inclusive policies promoted by the BJP in the region. They expressed confidence that their concerns and aspirations would be addressed effectively under the current leadership.
Welcoming the families, local leaders described the development as a reflection of evolving public sentiment, with more people supporting governance focused on progress, stability, and accountability. They emphasized that such support indicates a move away from divisive politics towards a more development-oriented approach.
Party leaders reiterated their commitment to accelerating development, empowering communities, and ensuring that government schemes reach every household.
This development is expected to further strengthen the BJP’s position in the constituency, highlighting a growing base of support driven by strong, responsive, and people-focused leadership.
