Agartala, Dec 21: Tripura Minister for Cultural Affairs Sushanta Chowdhury on Wednesday chaired a preparatory meeting on the upcoming live concert of renowned Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam in Agartala.

Senior officers from Tripura Police and the representatives of Youth Affairs and Sports department were present in the preparatory meeting to make the event successful.

Apart from the mega musical evening, a Drone Show would also be organized at Swami Vivekananda ground on December 23 night.

The Bollywood singer is coming to Tripura based on the invitation of Sports Minister Sushanta Chowdhury to support the Tripura government’s campaign against drugs.

The event would be organized by the Youth Affairs and Sports department as part of the state-level programme of month-long ‘Khelo Tripura, Sustho Tripura’ campaign which has been carried out across the state.
