New Delhi, June 8, 2026: The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, today conferred Gallantry Awards upon distinguished personnel of the Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces, and State/Union Territory Police during the Defence Investiture Ceremony–2026 (Phase-I) held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The ceremony was organized to honour exceptional acts of courage, valour, and devotion to duty displayed by security personnel in the face of grave danger and challenging circumstances. The awardees were recognized for their outstanding service and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty, integrity, and security of the nation.
