Agartala, Sept 05: Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured all assistance from the Centre for overall development of Tripura, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said on Monday.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister said, he met the Prime Minister and discussed several issues related to the state’s development.

The Chief Minster apprised the Prime Minister of present status of various central and state government schemes being implemented in Tripura.

Development of various sectors including healthcare, education, infrastructure and trade were also discussed in the meeting with the Prime Minister, Dr. Saha wrote.

Tripura government is committed to work hard for the people of Tripura under the dynamic leadership, vision and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he mentioned in the social media post.

According to sources, the Chief Minister also briefed the Prime Minister about the present political situation in Tripura.
