Rs. 4000 aid for each flood-affected constriction worker: Tripura CM

Agartala, Aug 28: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has announced a one-time grant of Rs 4,000 for construction workers impacted by recent floods.

This financial aid, announced on Facebook, is intended to alleviate the hardships faced by workers whose livelihoods were interrupted by the floods since August 19.

With the state allocating Rs 17,19,24,000, the aid will benefit 42,981 registered construction workers throughout Tripura. 

A total of 13,148 workers will get the aid in West Tripura followed by 5,899 in Sepahijala, 5,698 in Gomati, 4,133 in South Tripura, 4,529 in Khowai, 3,592 in Dhalai, 3,861 in Unakoti, and 2,121 in North Tripura. 

This initiative is designed to support workers during this challenging period.
