Agartala Jul 16: A special Lok Adalat, announced by the Supreme Court, will be held in Tripura from July 29 to August 3.
According to a government press release, 49 cases from Tripura will be heard during the Special Lok Adalat Week. 
The Supreme Court had sent 34 cases to the Pre-Lok Court for conciliation. Some other cases of Tripura were also added later. Before the final hearing, under the direction of the Apex Court, the Tripura State Legal Services Authority initiated the Pre-Lok Adalat Conciliation process from June 25 last. This process will continue till July 22 at the office of the High Court Legal Services Committee.
All parties involved in the cases have been notified. There are also arrangements for participation in the hearing of pre-Lok adalat conciliation.
Member Secretary of the Tripura State Legal Services Authority- Jhuma Dutta Chowdhury requested the notified parties to avail facility of the Lok Adalat.
