Agartala, Nov 23: Popular playback singer and Bollywood melody queen Shreya Ghosal will join a grand musical evening in Agartala on December 14, according to Minister for Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury.

Speaking to the reporters, he said, the live concert will be held at Swami Vivekananda Maidan (7 pm onwards) in the closing ceremony of first edition of Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024.

The festival is set to kick off on December 3; the inaugural ceremony will be held at Narkelkunja and Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha will remain present.

The next event will be at Neermahal on December 9 and the breathtaking Jampui Hills will witness a similar programme on December 11.

The main event in from December 12 to 14, will showcase the state's rich cultural heritage, diverse cuisine, and stunning handicrafts. It will also feature thrilling performances, various activities and interactive sessions, the minister said.

The Tourism department is inviting tour operators from across the country to explore Tripura's untapped potential. This initiative aims to position the state as a premier tourist destination, attracting both domestic and international visitors.
